Hospital visitJuly 7, 2008 @ 9pm in Peru (182 days ago) - View/add comments at Blogger.com The Australian team here in Peru is quite a large one in size and the team members have a very diverse range of talents. Another project which some members are currently completing is to paint some walls in the children's ward at the local hospital.
I hope you weren't worried about the headline - this hospital visit was a good one - and scheduled ahead of time :-)
A couple of wheelchairs we saw on the way in - what innovative design!
(L-R) Lara, Rudy and Kate waiting outside a new ward, and an educational sign outside the malaria unit, talking about where mosquitoes breed
Our team members headed into the paediatric room inside the Children's ward. Here is Carolina posing with a chalk outline of 'Tigger', which they are going to paint on this wall
And Camilla drawing a larger than life flower!
Fernando, Camilla and Carolina - a few of the talented artists in our crew.
And here's a couple of Peruvian bubs sound asleep while their room gets some colourful decoration!
Cute :-)
Check back in the next couple of days for some photos of the completed paintings! | Recent posts
